     Amy’s family rushed into their car. Soon enough, they hit the road. “I wanna go home!” pouted Amy. “I’m getting carsick!” she said. “We’ll be there in five minutes!” said Sherren. “Okay, okay I’ll wait.” sighed Amy impatiently. Soon, they had approached the airport.

     â€œWhy do we have to wait in line?” whined Amy. “My feet hurt!” “It is security.” explained Sherren’s older brother, Michal. ”They make sure you don’t have guns and stuff.” “He’s right.” interrupted Sherren. “If they find out you do have something like that, you are not allowed to board the plane. Even worse, you could get put in jail.”

Don’t you realize that everyone is starring at us?” Amy looked around. “Everyone was staring at them.” she realized. So she kept quiet.

     Amy soon fell asleep. Her stomach felt queasy and she felt very, very strange now. She dreamed that she had magical powers to control the world. Amy soon woke up, feeling even stranger than before.

   The airplane finally landed. Amy stepped outside, there was it, a new world. Amy couldn’t believe it, she was in Colorado!

     Many evergreen trees sparkled in the air, there were fireworks that lit up the sky, and many people carried signs that said: Merry Christmas to you! And Happy Holidays! Amy’s new world had only just began.

      "Look at the carnival!” Michal said with excitement. “And what a beautiful day!” Sherren added. “Look!” exclaimed Amy. “It’s snowing!” she cried. And indeed it was. Snow fell onto many buildings and houses.

     Soon, there was a huge feast and Amy’s family joined it. There was delicious food and refreshments, and many people danced and sang. Amy’s face brightened as she danced and sang along with them.

     Their airplane came back to pick up the passengers and Amy wished she could stay longer. But she knew that home was her favorite world to be in, and she loved it. So Amy’s family all came aboard the plane again. But this time, Amy didn’t feel strange one little bit. She was just happy to be going home.

     Michal opened the door. “We’re finally home!” he exclaimed. “It feels good to be home.” agreed Sherren. “Home is the best place.” said Amy. And that was true. Amy loved being home, and going to school to play with her friends. But Amy, Sherren and Michal knew all one thing, their new world was also exciting.
